Nexus Shell Agent Bridge
Native macOS SSH workspace with terminal, SFTP, server monitoring, Docker tools, and a built-in local MCP Agent Bridge.
About Nexus Shell Agent Bridge
A local MCP server built into Nexus Shell, a native macOS SSH workspace. It lets Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other MCP clients use approved saved connections through visible terminal tabs, execute commands, transfer files over SFTP, manage public SSH keys, and read monitoring/session metadata. It exposes 26 tools, opens no network port, uses a user-scoped Unix socket, requires first-use approval, keeps passwords and private keys from agents, and records redacted local audit logs. Install the signed/notarized app via Homebrew or the direct download, then enable Agent Bridge in Settings. Important disclosure: Nexus Shell is a proprietary desktop app; this GitHub repository hosts signed releases and detailed setup/security documentation, not application source.
