The Linear MCP server exposes Linear's API: issue CRUD, project and cycle management, comments, and search.
Particularly nice in practice because Linear's data model is small and consistent, so the model rarely gets confused. Common uses: triaging the inbox ("close anything that's been stale for 30 days and assign me everything tagged backend"), drafting issues from meeting notes, and weekly planning workflows.
Auth uses a Linear API key from Settings → API.
